Boys Varsity West Football vs. Unity Christian HS School

Zeeland West Varsity football fell to Unity Christian at Hudsonville stadium 20-8 Friday night. The game was tense the first half with a score of 14-8 going into halftime. Trying our hardest to make a comeback we ultimately couldn’t pull through.
Coach John Shillito commented, “great ball game by Unity. Our kids played hard but it just didn't come out how we wanted”. Coming back from an injury, star player
Sr. Trey Sloothaak played a good game which in the end kept the score from being even more one-sided. Sloothaak stated, “they were a good team and really executed well. We fought hard but it wasn’t good enough tonight.”
