SOUTH CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 5
Zeeland Boys split the bakers but just really couldn't adjust on the new lanes at Spectrum Lanes against South Christian. After losing the first baker game in the 10th the boys came back and won the second baker in the 10th and took totals by 2 pins and took the 6-4 lead. That lead was short lived as South took the home lane advantage and took 16 of the 20 points in the singles matches to secure the victory. High games were rolled by Zach Baum 226,223 and Nate Bruursema 207.
The girls got off to a slow start in bakers due to only getting about 3 minutes of practice because of the lanes breaking down. The girls got lined up in the second baker game and shot a nice 194 and winning the second as well as totals and taking a 6-4 lead. The girls never looked back from there taking all but one point in singles and beat S. Christian 25-5. High games rolled by Morgan Smith 203, 181, Alyssa Fortney 203, 196.
