The West Varsity Golf team placed 6th at the OK Green Conference Tournament held at Macatawa Legends today. The team also finished 6th for the conference season. The Dux were led by Luke Overweg with a 88. Congratulations to Luke for also being named OK Green Honorable Mention. Troy Mesbergen added a 91 while Andrew Nyenhuis, Tyler Mathy, and Carson Weaver had a trio of 92’s. The team travels to Pigeon Creek tomorrow to take on Allendale in a non-conference dual.

There is a meeting for any West boy interested in playing golf next year in Coach Minnear's room -D117 at either 7:15 a.m. or 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday the 5th.  Interested players should plan on being at one of the meetings and should see Coach Minnear if they are unable to attend.   

The West varsity golf team ended their season and placed 14th at the Division II Regional #8 yesterday held at Hawkshead Links in South Haven. The Dux were led by a pair of 89's by Ford Bybee and Luke Overweg.  Carson Weaver added a 101 while Andrew Nyenhuis contributed a 103.  

The West varsity golf team lost a close non-conference dual to Calvin Christian today at Crestview Golf Club 170-167.  The Dux were led by Luke Overweg with a 38.  Carson Weaver added a 42, Tyler Mathy a 44, and Troy Mesbergen a 46.  The team travels to Hawkshead Links on Wednesday to compete in Division 2 Region 8 Golf Tournament.  

The West varsity golf team defeated Allendale today in non-conference dual held at Pigeon Creek Golf Course.  The Dux were led by Luke Overweg with a 35.  Andrew Nyenhuis added a 43, Tyler Mathy a 44, and Troy Mesbergen a 46.  The team hosts Calvin Christian home on Thursday in a non-conference dual.  

The West varsity golf team placed 5th at the Hamilton Jamboree held at Diamond Springs Golf Course today.  The Dux were led by Luke Overweg with a 39.  Andrew Nyenhuis added a 44, Tyler Mathy a 45, and Carson Weaver contributed a 46.  The Dux travel to Macatawa Legends on Monday to play in the OK Green Conference Tournament.  

The West varsity golf team lost a dual match with Zeeland East today held at Hawkshead Links.  The Dux were led by Luke Overweg with an 83.  Andrew Nyenhuis added a 89, Ford Bybee a 93, and Tyler Mathy a 99.  The team travels to Diamond Springs on Saturday to compete in the Hamilton Invitational.  

The West varsity golf team placed 5th at the Unity Christian Jamboree held at Pigeon Creek Golf Course today.  The Dux were led by a pair of 43's by Andrew Nyenhuis and Carson Weaver.  Luke Overweg added a 44 while Dean OBrien contributed a 47. The Dux travel to Hawkshead Links on Thursday to compete in a match with Zeeland East.  

The West varsity golf team placed 7th at the Holland Jamboree held at Clearbrook Golf Club today.  The Dux were led by a  pair of 47's by Luke Overweg and Carson Weaver.  Andrew Nyenhuis added a 48 while Troy Mesbergen contributed a 49.  The team travels to Pigeon Creek on Monday to compete in the Unity Christian Jamboree.  

The West varsity golf team defeated Wyoming in a non-conference dual held at Crestview today.  The Dux were led by Andrew Nyenhuis with a 40.  Ford Bybee added a 45, Carson Weaver a 49, and Troy Mesbergen a 51.  The team travels to Clearbrook Golf Club tomorrow to compete in the Holland Jamboree.  

The West varsity golf team placed 8th at the Ottawa County Invitational held at The Meadows of GVSU today.  The Dux were led by Andrew Nyenhuis with a 90.  Luke Overweg added a 91, Carson Weaver a 99, and Ford Bybee a 107.  The team hosts Wyoming on Monday at Crestview for a non-conference dual.  

The West varsity golf team placed 5th at their home jamboree held at Crestview today.  The Dux were led by Luke Overweg with a 45.  Tyler Mathy added a 46, while Nate Gutknecht and Andre Nyenhuis had a pair of 47’s. The team travels to The Meadows at GVSU to compete in the Ottawa County Invitational tomorrow.  

The West varsity golf team placed 5th at the Byron Center jamboree held at Railside Country Club today.  The Dux lost in a 5th score tie break and missed 3rd place by one stroke.  The team was led by a pair of 41's by Tyler Mathy and Luke Overweg.  Carson Weaver added a 47 while Ford Bybee contributed a 52.  The team travels to Winding Creek Golf Course on Saturday to compete in the Zeeland East Invitational.  

The West varsity golf team  placed 5th at the Wooden Shoe Tournament held at Macatawa Legends today.  The Dux were led by Luke Overweg with an 88.  Ford Bybee added a 93, Tyler Mathy a 100, and Troy Mesbergen a 103.  The team travels to Railside Country Club to play in the Byron Center Jamboree tomorrow. 

The West varsity golf team lost a dual match with West Ottawa tonight at Macatawa Legends 177-199.  The Dux were led by Tyler Mathy with a 46.  Luke Overweg added a 48, Troy Mesbergen a 52, and Andrew Nyenhuis contributed a 53.  The team travels to Wuskowhan Players Club on Tuesday April 10 to compete in the Wooden Shoe Tournament.  

There will be a short information meeting for any West boy interested in playing golf this spring in room D117 (Mr. Minnear's room) on Tuesday March 6 at either 7:00 a.m. or 3:00 p.m.  Any player interested who is unable to attend should see Coach Minnear before the 6th.  A plan for tryouts will be shared along with overall expectations for the process.    Any players interested in trying out need to be sure they have taken care of all requirements for competition on Final Forms.
