The West varsity golf team placed 7th at the Byron Center Jamboree held at Railside Country Club today. The Dux were led by Conner Holwerda with a 49. Garrett Cook added a 51, Kyle Van Tuinen a 54, while Walter Bouvier and Toby Reinardy had a pair of 56’s. The team travels to The Meadows of GVSU on Friday to compete in the Ottawa County Invitational in Friday.

The West boys varsity team placed 12th at the Zeeland East Invitational on Saturday held at Winding Creek Golf Course. The Dux were led by Conner Holwerda with a 101. Walter Bouvier and Camryn Weaver added a pair of 117’s while Garrett Cook contributed a 122. The team heads back to Winding Creek on Tuesday to compete in the Zeeland East Jamboree.

The West varsity golf team finished their season on Wednesday at the Regional Tournament held at Diamond Springs.  The Dux were led by Conner Holwerda with a 87.  Walter Bouvier added a 95 while Andrew Brands and Camryn Weaver had a pair of 99's.  

The West varsity golf team defeated Allendale today 184-187 in a non-conference dual held at Crestview Golf Course.  The Dux were led by Andrew Brands with a 43.  Camryn Weaver added a 45, Walter Bouvier a 47, and Garrett Cook a 49.  The team travels to Diamond Springs on Wednesday the 29th to compete in the MHSAA Division 3 Regional 8 Tournament.  

The West varsity golf team placed 5th today at the OK Green Conference Tournament held at Macatawa Golf Club.  The Dux were led by Walter Bouvier who shot an 87 and placed 10th overall.  Garrett Cook added a 97, Camryn Weaver a 100, and Andrew Brands a 102.  The team hosts Allendale tomorrow in a non-conference dual at Crestview Golf Course.  

The West varsity golf team placed 6th at the Holland Jamboree held at Clearbrook Golf club tonight.  The Dux were led by a pair of 49's by Kyle Van Tuinen and Camryn Weaver.  Walter Bouvier added a 52 while Conner Holwerda contributed a 54.  The team travels to Macatawa Legends on Monday to compete in the OK Green Conference Tournament.  

The West varsity golf team lost to Calvin Christian today in a non-conference dual held at The Pines Golf Course.  The Dux were led by Kyle Van Tuinen with a 45.  Camryn Weaver added a 46, Garrett Cook a 51, and Walter Bouvier a 52.  The team travels to Clearbook Gofl Club tomorrow to compete in the Holland Jamboree.

The West varsity golf team placed 15th on Saturday at the Hamilton Invitational held at Diamond Springs Golf Course.  The team was led by Walter Bouvier with a 94.  Conner Holwerda and Andrew Brands had a pair of 97's while Kyle Van Tuninen added a 102.  The team travels to The Pines Golf Course on Monday to take on Calvin Christian in a non-conference dual.  

The West varsity golf team lost to East today at a match held at Diamond Springs Golf Course.  The Dux were led by Conner Holwerda with 91.  Kyle Van Tuinen added a 101 while Walter Bouvier and Camryn Weaver added a pair of 104's.  The team travels back to Diamond Springs on Saturday to compete in the Hamilton Invitational.  

The West varsity golf team defeated the Wolves from Wyoming in a non-conference dual held at Gleneagle Golf Course today.  The Dux were led by Conner Holwerda with a 43.  Walter Bouvier added a 41, Camryn Weaver a 48, and Garrett Cook and Kyle Van Tuinen had a pair of 51's.  The team travels to Diamond Springs on Saturday to compete in the Hamilton Invitational.  

The West varsity golf team placed 6th at the Unity Christian Jamboree held at Pigeon Creek Golf Course today.  The Dux were led by Camryn Weaver with a 47.  Andrew Brands added a 48, Walter Bouvier a 50, and both Conner Holwerda and Kyle Van Tuinen had a 53.  The team travels to Glenealge tomrorow to take on Wyoming for a non-conference dual.  

The West varsity boys golf team placed 7th at the Hamilton Jamboree held at Diamond Springs this afternoon in the wet and cold.  Walter Bouvier and Conner Holwerda led the Dux with a pair of 47's.  Andrew Brands added a 52 while Garrett Cook contributed a 53.  The team travels to Pigeon Creek on Monday to compete in the Unity Christian Jamboree.  

The West varsity golf team placed 9th at the Ottawa County Invitational held at The Meadows of GVSU today.  The Dux were led by a trio of 106's by Walter Bouvier, Andrew Brands, and Garrett Cook.  Kyle Van Tuinen contributed a 108.  The team travels to Glen Eagle Golf Club on Monday for a non-conference dual with Wyoming.

The West varsity golf team placed 6th at the Wooden Shoe Invitational held at Wuskowhan Players Club this evening.  The Dux were led by a pair of 107's by Andrew Brands and Kyle Van Tuinen.  Conner Holwerda added a 110 while Walter Bouvier contributed a 111.  The Dux travel to Railside Country Club on Wednesday to compete in the Byron Center Jamboree.  

The West varsity boys golf team placed 6th today as they hosted the OK Green Conference at their home course of Crestview.  Camryn Weaver led the Dux with a 48.  Garrett Cook added a 50, Andrew Brands a 52, and Kyle Van Tuinen a 54.  The team travels to Winding Creek on Saturday to compete in the Zeeland East Invitational.  

The West varsity boys golf team lost to West Ottawa in a non-conference dual Wednesday held at Macatawa Legends.  The Dux were led by Walter Bouvier with a 47.  Garrett Cook added a 49, Camryn Weaver a 52, and Andrew Brands a 53.  The team hosts the conference on Tuesday April 9th at Crestview for the first conference jamboree of the season.  

There will be a short information meeting for any West boy interested in playing golf this spring in room D117 (Mr. Minnear's room) on Monday March 4 at either 7:15 a.m. or 2:50 p.m.  Any player interested who is unable to attend should see Coach Minnear before the 4th.  A plan for tryouts (beginning on the 11th) will be shared along with overall expectations for the process.    Any players interested in trying out need to take care of all requirements for competition on Final Forms. 

Any West boy or girl who may be interested in playing golf this coming school year is invited to Kris Tees Driving Range on 96th for hitting sessions on Thursday July 19 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. , Monday July 23 from 2:00-3:00 p.m., Tuesday July 24 from 8:00-9:00 a.m..  Cost is free and open to any interested player entering West High School this fall.   Any weather cancellations will be posted the day off the hitting sessions on this website.  Please contact Coach Tim Minnear at tminnear@zps.org with any questions or concerns.
