The 8th grade Girls Soccer team "duck stomped" the visiting Muskegon soccer team by a score of 6-0. Typical of the all-star DUX line up; goals were scored by a plethora of ladies including Claira Kraft, Lauren Broersma, Izzy Schonenburg, Baily Forner, Grace Oren, and Lilly Michmerhuizen. As always the DUX solid defense was lead by Ellie Drenten, Gracie Erdmen, Cassidy Wiersma, and Lili Rapp.  Way to go girls!!

Yesterday, your 7th grade Lady DUX soccer team took on Zeeland Christian.  Zeeland Christian scored first.  Your Lady DUX shook it off and continued to pressure.  With seconds left in the first half, Emma Boersma passed the ball onto the foot of Samarah Arendsen, who knocked it into the back of the net to tie it up.  In the second half your Lady DUX dominated much of the play.  Isabella Cifuentes found the back of the net when she shot a ball that hit the left post, bounced off across the goal, hit the other post and rolled in!   Your DUX locked it in and recorded the 2-1 victory!  Jadyn Keatly did a great job in net.  Abby Habers, Emma Leach, Bella Hoffer, Hannah TenBroeke, and Lindsey Peterson all played fantastic defense.  The rest of the team also stepped it up to pitch in for the win.  Way to go Lady DUX! 8th grade girls soccer team kicked themselves to a tie in yesterdays soccer game against Zeeland Christian. The Dux made an exciting 2nd half come back on Lauren Broersma's 30 yard blast to the back of the net followed by Izzy Schoenenbergs second PK shot of the game. The Dux lead till the wee minutes of the game until ZCS tied it up with just two minutes to play. Playing tough for the lady dux were Olivia Hamilton, Lilly Michmerhuizen, and Angela Maly. 

Yesterday, your 7th grade Lady DUX soccer team took on Byron Center.  Unfortunately, Byron Center won 3-1. Scoring for the DUX was Isabella Cifuentes off an assist from Samarah Arendsen.

Yesterday, your 7th grade Lady DUX soccer team took on Holland Christian.  Isabella Cifuentes found the back of the net to get your DUX on the board first.  Shortly after, Holland Christian tied it up.  In the second half, Samantha VanDort knocked in another goal on a pass from Emma Boersma, putting your DUX again in the lead.  Holland Christian answered towards the end of the game to tie it up.  Both teams had several more unsuccessful scoring chances and the game ended in a 2-2 tie.  Great job girls!! The 8th grade girls soccer team tied Holland Christian 2-2 Monday night in an exciting second half comeback. The Lady Dux fell to a 2-0 deficit in the first half but a goal by Claira Kraft and Izzy Schonenberg brought the Dux back to life. Defensive leaders Ellie Drenten, Lilly Rapp, Cassidy Wiersema, and Gracie Erdman kept the attacks of HC at bay leading the ladies in a great performance. 

Yesterday your 7th grade Lady DUX soccer team took on the Eagles of Hudsonville.  Although your DUX really pressured in the second half, they could not find the back of the net.  The final was a 1-0 loss. Your 8th grade also Dux lost a hard fought battle 4-0 to Hudsonville. Strong efforts were turned in by Bailey Forner, Mel Guinn, Claira Kraft and Grace Oren. 

Yesterday, your 7th grade girls soccer team took on our hometown rival, Cityside, in the first game of the season.  Both teams were held scoreless for much of the game.  With about 8 minutes left in the second half, Samarah Arendsen handled a ball passed to her and knocked it into the back of the net.  A few minutes later Cityside responded with a goal of their own.  Although there were a number of other scoring chances, none found their way into the goal.  The result was a 1-1 tie!  Playing well in net was Jadyn Keatly. Grace Zuber, Emma Leach, Abby Habers, Bella Hoffer, Hannah TenBroeke, and Lindsey Peterson did a great job on defense! Great first game ladies! The 8th grade girls soccer team started off their season yesterday with a hard fought battle against cross town rivals Cityside. The Dux jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on Izzy Schoenbergs first half goal but ended up losing 2-1. Stellar performances were turned in by Lauren Broersma, Grace Oren, Cassidy Wiersma and Baily Forner. Way to go Dux!
