Yesterday, your 7th grade Lady DUX soccer team took on Zeeland Christian.  Zeeland Christian scored first.  Your Lady DUX shook it off and continued to pressure.  With seconds left in the first half, Emma Boersma passed the ball onto the foot of Samarah Arendsen, who knocked it into the back of the net to tie it up.  In the second half your Lady DUX dominated much of the play.  Isabella Cifuentes found the back of the net when she shot a ball that hit the left post, bounced off across the goal, hit the other post and rolled in!   Your DUX locked it in and recorded the 2-1 victory!  Jadyn Keatly did a great job in net.  Abby Habers, Emma Leach, Bella Hoffer, Hannah TenBroeke, and Lindsey Peterson all played fantastic defense.  The rest of the team also stepped it up to pitch in for the win.  Way to go Lady DUX!

8th grade girls soccer team kicked themselves to a tie in yesterdays soccer game against Zeeland Christian. The Dux made an exciting 2nd half come back on Lauren Broersma's 30 yard blast to the back of the net followed by Izzy Schoenenbergs second PK shot of the game. The Dux lead till the wee minutes of the game until ZCS tied it up with just two minutes to play. Playing tough for the lady dux were Olivia Hamilton, Lilly Michmerhuizen, and Angela Maly.
