Congratulations to junior Rylee Smith for earning 10th place out of 108 players at the MHSAA Divison 2 State Final Tournament held at MSU Forest Akers West on Friday and Saturday. Rylee's two day total of 167 was very well done in difficult conditions. This is the second consecutive year that Rylee has finished in the top-10 for Division 2. Great job Rylee!

The West varsity golf team placed 7th at Division 2 Regional 9 Tournament today held at Yankee Spring Golf Course. The top 3 teams advanced to the state tournament along with the top 3 individuals, not on qualifying the teams. The Dux were led by Rylee Smith who placed 3rd out of 61 golfers to earn a spot in the Division 2 State Tournament held at Forest Akers West Golf Course at MSU on October 14 and 15. Eve Kasten added a 96, Natalie Kernstock a 106 and Kairi Beckwtih contributed a 110. The team ended their season today but wish Rylee all the best at state!

The West varsity golf team defeated Unity Christian today in a non-conference dual held at Crestview Golf Course. The Dux were led by Rylee Smith with a 41. Izzy Zamora added a 47, Eve Kasten a 48, while Natalie Kernstock contributed a 50. The team travels to Yankee Springs tomorrow to complete in the MHSAA Regional Tournament.

The West varsity golf team won the OK Green Conference Tournament held at Pigeon Creek Golf Course today. The finish earned enough points to become Co-Champions of the conference along with Mona Shores. The Dux were led by Rylee Smith who was the medalist today with a 74. Rylee also tied for low average of the entire conference season and was named All-Conference. Izzy Zamora added a 90 and was 5th overall and earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors. Natalie Kernstock contributed a 97 which was a 6th place finish along with earning Honorable Mention honors. Eve Kasten added a 99 and was named All-Conference. Congratulations also to Kairi Beckwith who also earned Honorable Mention honors. The team travels to Wuskowhan Players Club tomorrow to compete in the Wooden Shoe Invitational.

The West varsity golf team won the Wooden Shoe Invitational held at Wuskowhan Players Club today. The Dux were led by Rylee Smith who was the medalist with a 1 under par 35 score. Eve Kasten contributed a 48 which was T-4th overall while Natalie Kernstock and Kairi Beckwith had a pair of 49's (T-6th). The team hosts Unity Christian at Crestview on Monday for a non-conference dual.

The team travels to Pigeon Creek Golf Course on Thursday to compete in the Zeeland East Invitational.
