West Varsity Boys Golf take 5th out of 18 at the Division 2 Region 8 Tournament

The West varsity golf team placed 5th our of 18 today at the Division 2 Region 8 Tournament held at Diamond Springs Golf Course. Senior Malachi Le and Sophomore Logan Bomers had a pair of 79's which was T-9th overall out of 89 players. Sophomore Tyler Baumann added a 93 while Senior Tyler Engelsman contributed a 97. Both Logan and Malachi made it to a playoff for the final individual spot to go the Division 2 State Tournament but unfortunately lost on a great shot by the third player in the playoff from Otsego. The team had a solid showing and should be proud of their play.

The West varsity golf team finished T-2 today at the OK Green Conference Tournament held at Ravines Golf Club. The finish solidified 2nd place in the final conference standings. Malachi Le led the Dux with an 85 which was 10th place overall. Logan Bomers also added an 85, while Tyler Baumann added an 88, and Tyler Engelsman a 91. Malachi and Logan also earned All Conference OK Green Conference from their play for the entire conference season which is a great accomplishment. The team travels to Diamond Springs on Thursday the 1st to compete in the Regional Tournament.

Malachi Le and Tyler Baumann had a pair of 44's while Tyler Engelsman added a 45. The team travels to The Ravines Golf Club on Wednesday to compete in the OK Green Conference Tournament.

Malachi Le added an 87, Tyler Baumann a 99, and Brady Westfield a 104. The team travels to Clearbrook Golf Club on Wednesday to play in the Holland Jamboree.

The Dux were led by Logan Bomers and Malachi Le with a pair of solid 37's. Tyler Engelsman added a 45 while Brady Westfield contributed a 46. The team travels to The Meadows of GVSU on Friday to compete in the Ottawa County Invitational

Malachi Le and Tyler Baumann had a pair of 90's while Tyler Engelsman contributed a 101. The team travels to Lincoln Golf Club on Monday to finish up the Reeths Puffer Jamboree.
