Zeeland West Varsity Dux easily dispatched Spring Lake Varsity Lakers on Tuesday, 12-2.

Zeeland West Varsity Dux jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Emily Kragt doubled, scoring one run, Megan Strabbing singled, scoring one run, and an error scored three runs.

Zeeland West Varsity Dux added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Spring Lake Varsity Lakers dropped a third strike, and Zeeland West Varsity Dux scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.

Three more Zeeland West Varsity Dux runs crossed the plate in the fourth inning to extend the lead to 10-2. Kragt hit a solo home run to center field, an error scored one run, and Sadie Kragt singled, scoring one run. 

E Kragt earned the win for Zeeland West Varsity Dux. The right-handed pitcher allowed six hits and two runs (zero earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking one. Khloe Siler took the loss for Spring Lake Varsity Lakers. The starting pitcher went five and one-third innings, allowing 12 runs (seven earned) on 10 hits, striking out six and walking five.
