Zeeland West Varsity Dux won thanks in part to eight runs in the seventh inning. Riley Howe singled, scoring one run, Paige Visser induced Jenna Hendricks to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Wyckoff doubled, scoring two runs, Maddi Veersma grounded out, scoring one run, Emily Kragt singled, scoring one run, and Megan Strabbing doubled, scoring two runs.

Zeeland West Varsity Dux were the first to get on the board in the first when Strabbing drew a walk, scoring one run.

Ava Gardner tripled to center field on the seventh pitch of the at-bat, which helped Hudsonville Varsity Eagles tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

A single by Strabbing gave Zeeland West Varsity Dux the lead, 2-1, in the top of the third.

Wyckoff earned the win for Zeeland West Varsity Dux. The righty allowed six hits and one run over seven innings, striking out eight and walking two. Kaylin Reifschneider took the loss for Hudsonville Varsity Eagles. The right-handed pitcher went three innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out three and walking five.
