In the second game of a double header, Zeeland West Varsity Dux took Wednesday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 10-9 walk-off victory over Hamilton Varsity Hawkeyes. Zeeland West Varsity Dux were down 9-8 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Madison Wyckoff singled, scoring two runs.

Kylie Glass drove in four runners in the win. The second baseman went 2-3 on the day.

A wild pitch put Zeeland West Varsity Dux on the board in the bottom of the second.

Zeeland West Varsity Dux added one run in the third. Emily Kragt singled to center field, making the score 2-0.

Hamilton Varsity Hawkeyes tied the game in the top of the fourth thanks to a ground out by Malenna Luckadoo, and a single by Brooke Petroelje.

A single by Glass gave Zeeland West Varsity Dux the lead, 4-2, in the bottom of the fourth.
 

The score was 7-5 after the sixth inning when Hamilton Varsity Hawkeyes captured the lead, 9-7, in the top of the seventh when Kelsey Mersman scored after tagging up, Kendall Cornell doubled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.

Zeeland West Varsity Dux took the lead, 10-9, in the bottom of the seventh thanks to singles by Glass, and Wyckoff.

Kragt earned the win for Zeeland West Varsity Dux. The pitcher gave up three hits and four runs (three earned) over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking none. Mersman took the loss for Hamilton Varsity Hawkeyes. The righty went six and two-thirds innings, surrendering 10 runs on 11 hits, striking out seven and walking eight. Sadie Kragt opened the game for Zeeland West Varsity Dux. The hurler allowed eight hits and five runs (two earned) over five and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking none.

Zeeland West Varsity Dux amassed 11 hits in the game. Kragt, Megan Strabbing, Glass, and Kragt each collected two hits for Zeeland West Varsity Dux. Maddi Veersma paced Zeeland West Varsity Dux with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game.
