Zeeland West Varsity Dux Fall After Strong Showing By Buchanan Bucks

Zeeland West couldn't keep up with Buchanan Varsity Bucks and fell 15-3 on Friday.

Madi Wyckoff took the loss for ZW Dux after going four and two-thirds innings, allow 11 runs (two earned) on 11 hits, striking out four and walking one. Emily Kragt came in for relief going two and one-third innings allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits and one strikeout.

Morgan Patrick went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Zeeland West on the offense. Alexa Brott, Yessie Alejandro, and Kragt each drove in one run for the Dux. The defense turned one double play in the game.
