Alexa Brott was brilliant on the rubber on Friday, as Brott threw a no-hitter to lead Zeeland West Varsity Dux past Montague Varsity Wildcats 15-0.

Zeeland West Varsity Dux had ten hits in the game. Emily Kragt collected four hits in four at bats to help lead Zeeland West Varsity Dux to victory.  Kragt singled in the first, singled in the second, doubled in the third, and singled in the fourth.

Zeeland West Varsity Dux tallied five runs in the fourth inning.  Zeeland West Varsity Dux put the pressure on, lead by a walk by Maddie Wyckoff, a single by Kragt, a fielder's choice by Maddie Veersma, and a double by Carly Sleeman.

Brott earned the win for Zeeland West Varsity Dux. Brott went four innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out four and walking zero.

Sleeman had a home run in the third inning which broke the school's career homerun record. That was her 21st homerun of her high school career.
