Zeeland West Varsity Dux fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 15-4 loss to Rockford Rams Varsity on Saturday.  Rockford Rams Varsity took the lead on a triple in the second inning.

The Zeeland West Varsity Dux struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Rockford Rams Varsity, giving up 15 runs.

After Rockford Rams Varsity scored one run in the top of the sixth, Zeeland West Varsity Dux answered with one of their own.  Rockford Rams Varsity scored when Kamden Binney singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.  Zeeland West Varsity Dux then answered when Kadrian Neifert grounded out, scoring one run.

Alexa Brott took the loss for Zeeland West Varsity Dux. The righthander lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing eight hits and seven runs while striking out five and walking one.

Zeeland West Varsity Dux hit one home run on the day. Carly Sleeman had a four bagger in the first inning.

Zeeland West Varsity Dux racked up eight hits on the day.  Brott, Sleeman, and Emily Kragt each managed multiple hits for Zeeland West Varsity Dux.  Kragt, Sleeman, and Brott all had two hits to lead Zeeland West Varsity Dux.
