Zeeland West Varsity Dux nabbed the lead late in the game in a 6-3 victory over Whitehall on Tuesday.  The game was tied at three with Zeeland West Varsity Dux batting in the bottom of the fifth when Maddie Veersma singled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs.

Whitehall captured the lead in the second inning.  Carnes hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.

Emily Kragt earned the victory in the pitcher's circle for Zeeland West Varsity Dux. The pitcher lasted three innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out two and walking one.  Maddie Wyckoff threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.  Wyckoff recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Zeeland West Varsity Dux.

LeaTrea took the loss for Whitehall. The hurler surrendered six runs on ten hits over six innings, striking out three and walking one.
