The Dux scored early again by in the second game of the double header putting up two in the bottom of the first inning.  Lily Brower hit a triple and scored off a Carly Sleeman double. Taylor Zwagerman came up with two outs and drove in Sleeman with a single.

They continued strong with the bats by putting three more on the board in the bottom of the second. Morgan Patrick reached on a bunt hit moving Avery Vugteveen to second. Lauren Spahr hit a single. Aracely Ramirez-Salis hits a line drive single to right to score Patrick. Sleeman then hits a double to plate Spahr and Ramirez-Salas to take a 5-0 lead after two.

Dux completed the scoring with another rally in the bottom of the fourth putting up five runs and winning 10-0 in five innings.

Alexa Brott collected the win on the mound. She threw five innings allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out seven and walking two.

Dux offense was led by Sleeman who went 3 for 3 with three doubles and 4  RBIs. Zwagerman had two singles and 2 RBIs. Fuentes, Spahr, Jordan Smeyers,  Patrick, Ramirez-Salas, and Brower all contributed to the 11 hits for the Dux in the victory.

Dux improved to 22-5 on the season and travel to Muskegon on Monday 5/17 for a OK Green Conference double header. They are 9-1 in Conference with 4 games remaining.
