Dux put up ten runs in the first inning and cruise to a three inning victory against Holland Dutch in OK Green Conference play. It sealed the sweep and the Dux improve to 9-1 in conference.

The Dux sent thirteen batters to the plate in the first. Lily Brower hit a solo homerun, Elexia Fuentes singles scoring Carley Sleeman who reached on error. Taylor Zwagerman doubles before  Alexa Brott hits a three run homerun forcing Holland to change pitchers. Addison Verplank continues the rally with a single. Morgan Patrick follows with a double. Makena Moungkhoun has a quality at bat and gets a walk. Jordyn Smeyers hits a single to score two more. Lily Brower gets a bunt single, and Sleeman hits a double driving in two more to take the 10-0 lead.

Brower led the Dux going 3 for 3. Sleeman went 2 for 3 collecting 4 RBIs. Elexiia Fuentes and Jordyn Smeyers also go 2 for 3 in the game with a single and a double. Zwagerman and Patrick each had doubles, and Lauren Spahr(single), Brott(HR), and Verplank(single) also had a hits in the victory.   

Brott earned her second conference win improving her record to 2-1 (8-2 overall). She threw three innings allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out eight and walking zero. 

The Dux improve to 9-1 in OK Green Conference and 20-5 overall. 

They travel to Forest Hills Central on Friday for a non conference double header starting at 4:15p
