The Dux saw an early lead disappear in game two of the OK Green Conference double header. They fought back to tie it in the top of the seventh, to only fall short as Zeeland East scores the winning run in the bottom of the inning to take the win 9-10.

Alexa Brott took the loss on the mound. She three 6 1/3 innings allowing ten runs on thirteen hits, striking out eight and walking four. "Alexa battled on the mound all night. The Chix did a good job of putting the bat on the ball and it found open field."

Dux offense had eleven hits in the loss. They were led by Elexia Fuentes who went 3 for 4 with a single, double, and triple! Lily Brower went 2 for 3 with a homerun in the first inning and a triple later in the game. Carly Sleeman was the other Dux batter with a multiple hit game with two singles. Taylor Zwagerman, Emily Brands, Brott, and Morgan Patrick each contributed a hit in the loss.

Dux record in conference goes to 7-1. 17-4 overall. They travel to Calvin Christian on Saturday to participate in a quad before taking on Holland next Tuesday on the road for OK Green Conference double header.
