Dux continued where they left off in the second game of the double header scoring 13 runs in the first inning and going on to win 17-0 in three innings.

Senior Addison Verplank through a no hitter in her first appearance on the season. She was coming off an arm injury, but threw extremely well. She went three innings allowing no runs, no hits, striking out three, and walking one. "Addison looked good on the mound. She hasn't thrown a game yet, but got out there and did what was needed by throwing strikes and making the batters put the ball in play."

Dux Defense was also good in the game with no errors. When the Red Hawks got their only base runner due to the walk, she was able to advance to third on two wild pitches, but was picked off third by a nice play from catcher Carly Sleeman to third baseman Elexia Fuentes.

Dux Offense continued to share the work. Nine different batters contributed hits with Verplank and Alexa Brott each collecting two. Brott again was big with key at bats driving in three runs. Lily Brower, Sleeman, Fuentes, Lauren Spahr, Aracely Ramirez-Salas, Avery Vugteveen, and Makena Moungkhoun each collected hits in the victory. Dux again were disciplined in the box with thirteen walks.

Dux improved their OK Green Conference record to 6-0 and overall to 12-2. They host Holland Christian at home on Friday night for two non conference games starting at 4:15pm
