The Dux continued to be strong at the plate in game two to sweep the Wolves in OK Green conference play. Dux fell behind in the second inning, but busted the game open by putting up eight runs in the fourth and closed the game in the fifth.

Freshman Alexa Brott earned the win on the mound. She threw five innings allowing one run on two hits, striking out ten and only walking one. "Alexa had great control tonight. It was fun to watch her find her rhythm and hold the Wolves to just two hits."

Dux offense got hits from eight different batters in the game. They were led by freshman Morgan Patrick who went two for three with a single and a double and plating 4 runs. Elexia Fuentes, Taylor Zwagerman, Carly Sleeman, Brott, Jordyn Smeyers, Emily Brands, and Lily Brower all contributed hits.

"We came out in game two and played much better defensively. We also were able to string our hits together which allowed us to open up the game in the fourth inning. After getting a big lead we didn't have any let down and were able to finish strong. This team continues to work hard and play as a team. We are very proud of them."

Dux improve to 4-0 in OK Green Conference and 8-2 overall. 

Dux travel to South Christian on Thursday for a non conference double header.
