Dux opened up scoring in the first inning and never looked back. Carly Sleeman singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
They put up three runs in the fourth inning, which included a home run by Lily Brower.
Alexa Brott got the win on the mound. She pitched six innings, allowing seven hits and one run while striking out two. Alexa continues to provide solid pitching for the Dux in her freshman season.
Dux Offence racked up nine hits. Brower and Sleeman each had three hits to lead the Dux. Alexa Brott, Jordyn Smeyers, and Addison Verplank each had one hit. Smeyers and Elexia Fuentes led the baserunning with two stolen bases eash, as the Dux took six stolen bases in all.
Dux Defense is starting to shine early in the season. Dux committed a single error and turned 3 double plays in the first game of a three day Saturday.
