SOUTH CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 9
A late rally for South Christian Sailors put them ahead in the fifth inning for good to win the game 9-8.
The Dux outhit the sailers in the game, but costly errors allowed the game to get away from them.
Emily Brands threw well, but took the loss on the mound. She threw six innings, allowing 9 runs on 8 hits, striking out 2 and walking 4.
The most of the Dux lineup contributed on the offensive side. They collected 11 hits. They were led by Lily Brower, and Elexia Fuentes, and Brands who all went 2 for 3 in the game and collected 3,2, and 0 RBIs respectively. Taylor Zwagerman, Jordyn Smeyers, Kenzie Siersma, Brinzie Kalkman, and Cortlyn Merryman all collected hits in the game as well.
