The Dux kept the bats and solid defense going in the second game of the conference double header and shut the Dutch out 22-0.

Siersma took the win with the shutout on the mound. She threw four scoreless innings, allowing 4 hits, striking out four, and walking zero. She had great command tonight and fielded several hard hit balls up the middle to control the Dutch hitters. She improved to 4-1 in conference. 

Taylor Zwagerman led the Dux at the plate going 4 for 4. She was hitting the ball hard all over the field including a line drive the bounced off the top of the center field fence and unfortunately stayed in the yard. Elexia Fuentes had three hits including a single, double, and a triple. Siersma hit her second home run of the night and went 2 for 4. Jordyn Smeyers and Lily Brower each had two hits. Brinzie Kalkman, Claire Barkel, and Morgan Rush each added a hit for the Dux 16 hit game.

Defensively the Dux supported their picther and didn't commit any errors.

The Dux improved to 6-2 in the OK Green Conference (11-10 overall). They travel to South Christian on Thursday night for a non league double header.
