Dux comeback comes up short and drop second game 2-8 against Thornapple Kellogg

Dux were down two early in the first inning, and rallied back to tie in the fourth, but couldn't hold Thornapple from surging again and taking the game 8-2.
Kenzie Siersma took the loss on the mound. She threw six innings allowing 3 earned runs, on 7 hits, 5 strike outs, and zero walks. She pitched a good game, but the Trojans made the necessary adjustments to score late in the game.
Dux offense was quite. Siersma had a double, and Morgan Rush had a nice sac fly to help plate the runs for the comeback effort.
Dux fall to 6-8 on the season. They will travel to Hamilton on Tuesday for OK Green Conference play. They are 3-1 in conference. Games start at 4:00p.
