The Dux bats were on collecting 11 runs on 19 hits in the opener of a conference double header against Holland Christian. They beat the Maroons 11-6 after coming from behind late in the game. The game was tied at six in the top of the sixth when Kenzie Siersma tripled scoring the go ahead run. They didn't look back as they put four in the sixth and another two in the seventh.

Freshman Emily Brands collected her first varsity win on the mound. She pitched a solid complete game allowing five hits and six runs over seven innings, striking out four and walking two. She looked confident on the mound and kept the Maroon's bats in check.

Lily Brower, Siersma, Morgan Rush, Claire Barkel, Elexia Fuentes, Cortlyn Merryman, and Brands all collected multiple hits for the Dux. Barket, Rush, Siersma, and Brower all had three hits. Taylor Zwagerman also tallied a single in the win.

Defensively the Dux had a strong outing behind their pitcher.  Siersma led the way with 8 assists. They also turned a 4-6-3 double play and held the Maroons to only 5 hits.

The Dux improved to 2-1 in conference play and 5-5 overall.
