The Dux fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-1 loss to Fruitport on Saturday morning in the Lakeshore Slam Tournament opener.
Emily Brands took the loss for Dux. She surrendered 11 runs on eight hits over five and a third innings.
Lily Brower, Brinzie Kalkman, Cortlyn Merryman, Brands, Morgan Rush, and Kenzie Siersma all had a single hit to lead the Dux offense.
