Lady Dux regrouped after the opener loss and put up big numbers in the second game of the double header against Coopersville. They won 16-1 in four innings.

Kenzie Siersma held the Coopersville hitters to only three hits. She picks up the win throwing four innings walking two and striking out three. She had good control and did well to get up in the counts and keep her pitch count low.

Siersma was supported with a great offensive showing. Lily Brower started the game with a lead-off home run on the first pitch and followed that up with a grand slam in the fourth inning. Maddie Sliva followed Brower in the fourth with a solo homerun. Sophie Zelenock and Morgan Rush each had two hits in the game as well with Rush driving in 3 runs. Kenzie Siersma, Brinzie Kalkman, and Shyanne Cooper each contributed single hits in the victory.

Dux improved to 6-2 on the season and are on the road Thursday for a conference game starting at  4:15p against Unity Christian.
