The Lady Dux needed to rally from behind twice and take an extra inning to win the second game of the conference double header on Friday night against Zeeland East 5-3! 

Lily Brower hit a double in the top of the 6th inning driving in a run to tie the game at 3-3. Brower did it again in the top of the 8th, hitting a two run double to put the Dux up 5-3. The Dux defense held the Chix scoreless in the bottom of the extra inning to take both conference games from East.

Maddie Sliva earned the win on the mound. She pitched eight innings allowing three runs on 10 hits, striking out two and walking two.

The Dux offense took the opportunities that were presented to them. Maddie Sliva, Kenzie Siersma, Sophie Zelenock, and Katie Bruursema each contributed hits.

The Dux were busier on defense in game two.  Led by Morgan Rush who had 7 assists from second base including a line drive double play by picking off a Chix runner at first.

Dux improved to 3-0 in OK Green Conference and 5-0 on the season.
