NORTHPOINTE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL: 5
Varsity Dux improved to 2-0 on the 2018 season with a dominant win over NorthePointe Christian on Monday night 24-5.
Maddie Sliva got the win on the mound pitching four innings giving up 5 runs on 3 hits, striking out 4 and walking 1.
The Dux offense was strong in the win with 21 hits. Six players had multi hit games Lily Brower had 4 hits, Sliva, Kenzie Siersma, Sophie Zelenock, and Morgan Rush had 3. Claire Barket had two hits including a triple. Rush led the Dux with 5 RBIs on the night.
The Dux travel to Covenant Christian on Tuesday for a single game and hope to build on the solid start of the season.
