KENOWA HILLS HIGH SCHOOL: 1.00
The Dux JV soccer team earned a hard fought and physical come from behind 2-1 victory over Kenowa Hills, on their last home game of the season. After going down 1-0 in the first half, the Dux regrouped and scored 2 goals in the final 20 minutes of the game to secure the win. Zach Anderson played a corner into the box which bounced around a bit before Andrew Zimmer directed the rebound into the back of the net to tie the score at 1-1.
With about 15 minutes to go in the game, Xane Herrygers was dragged down in the penalty box, resulting in a penalty kick for the Dux. Hayden Glennie didn't miss, blasting it past the keeper to secure the win. Reagan Page made 7 saves in goal for the Dux, and the defense played stout throughout the match.
