The Dux JV boys soccer team overcame a lengthy weather delay and wet field en route to a shortened 1-0 win over Wyoming last night. Due to the weather delay, the JV game was shortened to a single 35 minute game, which was enough for the Dux to secure the win. Zach Anderson played a perfectly weighted and angled through ball to Graham VanDort who slipped it past the onrushing keeper and into the back of the net. Reagan Page made 4 saves in net for the Dux, and the defensive unit held tough against a speedy and skilled Wolves attack.

"Despite never really settling into the game offensively, we were able to capitalize on an opportunity when it presented itself. Really proud of our boys in overcoming a unique set of circumstances and leaving here with the win. Defensively, we were very solid and organized."

The Dux host Grand Rapids Union on Thursday to wrap up conference play.
