MONA SHORES HIGH SCHOOL: 1.00
The Dux JV boys soccer team jumped out to an early lead over the visiting Sailors of Mona Shores Tuesday night, but could not sustain it in the second half, resulting in a 1-1 draw. Pace Bittrick scored the lone goal for the Dux, and Reagan Page made 8 saves in net, including a penalty kick in the second half.
"Defensively, we were pretty consistent and strong most of the game, but we didn't execute the way we are capable of in the second half. We played to their strengths rather than ours, and let one slip away. Proud of our effort, the boys continue making progress and growing together."
The Dux host Reeths-Puffer on Thursday night, and are 1-2-1 on the season. (1-1-1 in the OK Green).
