The Dux JV Soccer team hosted Jenison, earning a hard fought draw 1-1. Pace Bittrick's goal in the first half gave the Dux the early lead, but a late miscue in back led to an own goal, drawing Jenison level.
"We played a decent first half, but had some difficulty adjusting to their physicality on the ball. Offensively, we didn't attack with the same energy and purpose in the second half, and Jension was able to grab a bit of the momentum back. Reagan Page had a great game in net tonight, keeping us in the match after the equalizer. We were good enough to earn the tie tonight and remain unbeaten at home. Our boys should be proud of that."
