HOLLAND HIGH SCHOOL: 7
The Dux JV boys soccer played a decent game against a very skilled and talented Holland team, falling by a final score of 1-7. Trailing 5-0 at the half, the Dux continued to battle and kept Holland to only 2 goals in the second half. Micah Henry scored the lone goal for the Dux late in the second half.
"Holland is by far the most talented team we have played so far. They are the gold standard in our conference, and to play them 2-1 during the second half is a testament to the resiliency and character of our boys tonight. We played with heart, determination and grit. Very proud of the effort!"
