The Dux JV soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw against the Chix on Tuesday night. Micah Henry gave the Dux a 1-0 lead in the first half, but the Chix battled back and got the equalizer in the second half. Both teams traded offensive chances and defended really well. Lucas Smith and Reagan Page were fantastic between the pipes, and the Dux back four remained disciplined, organized and tenacious against a good attacking Chix team.

"Really pleased with the energy and attention to detail tonight, especially in the first half. We were able to set the tone and tempo when we had the wind, and kept them on their heels most of the first half. We defended really well, especially in the second half, and did a much better job of playing to feet and using our width tonight. Zeeland East is a very solid team, our boys should be proud of the result - well earned and well deserved."
