After a great weekend and tournament win the boys Dux soccer team headed to Wyoming t face off against the Wolves.  After a shortened jv game in which the Dux won 1-0 the varsity team hit the field against a very skilled Wolves team.  The possession right from the start belonged to the Wolves who controlled most of the 1st and appeared a little dangerous.  The Dux really never got things going offensively but remained strong on the defensive side and kept the Wolves off of the scoreboard impart thanks to Isaiah CiFuentes who was stellar on goal all game.  The 2nd half the Dux offense woke up a little bit and had some quality scoring opportunities but could not convert on 3 really good chances inside if 8 yards.  The wolves finally broke through on a rebound header that had deflected off the crossbar from a finger tip save by CiFuentes.  The game ended in a 1-0 loss for the Dux.  It was an off night for an offense that had been clicking but we just couldn't quite put it together.  Credit to Wyoming for taking us out of our game and making us play theirs.  Next up for the Dux is Grand Rapids Union at home this Thursday.
