The goals came in abundance las night as the varsity boys put up 5 against a talented Fennville squad.  The gamed was played on a beautiful but fast turf field and it took some getting used to but the boys really stepped up and played a solid game.  Sammy Salas scored the first 2 goals both on breakaways.  We really used our possession and solid defense to take away any real scoring opportunities for Fennville.  The 2nd half started a little slow fr us and we gave a goal back to cut the lead to 2-1.  The urgency to put our foot on the gas just didn't transpire until Fennville got 1 back.  After that we really stepped up our level of play as Sammy Salas added a third goal to complete the hat trick and Connor Dobrinski converted a penalty.  The final goal came from a fantastic shot through traffic from Josiah Faucher which pretty much ended the comeback attempt.  We played an overall solid game.  Our defense continues to improve and our attack is also on the rise.  We didn't under estimate Fennville and their and that only helped us throughout the game.  Next up is Muskegon tonight and we are looking forward to another opportunity to play.  We continue to get better every game and the guys really are working hard.  Hoping to continue to build and perform!
