HOLLAND HIGH SCHOOL: 3
The Dux played a very good defensive game and probably one of our more complete performances of the season but fell short against a Holland squad that was playing on their senior night. 3-0 is not indicative of how well we played defensively. It was nice to see is working really well together on both sides of the ball in the 1st half. We had some chances but couldn't equalize. The 2nd half had Holland pressing a bit more and on consecutive corner kicks the ball found the back of the net for a 3-0 lead. Our kids never quit and keeper Branch McGeehan had another superb outing. Our defense got high praise from Holland's coach as he told me we really disrupted their flow of play. I thought we played hard and fought harder.
