Zeeland West Dux had all cylinders firing on offense on Thursday, winning big over Holland Dutch Varsity 9-1
The Dux got on the board in the first inning when Josh Agar doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Zeeland West put up four runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was driven by singles from Agar, Carter Hughes, and Jake Lencioni.
Trenten Bolhouse was the winning pitcher for Zeeland West. The hurler went five innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out eight. Joe Ruch threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen to close the door.
Zeeland West tallied ten hits in the game. Agar, Hughes, and Lencioni all had multiple hits for Zeeland West Varsity Dux. Agar went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Dux in hits. The Dux didn't commit a single error in the field.
