NORTH MUSKEGON HIGH SCHOOL: 1.00
Both teams were strong on the pitcher's mound Friday, but Zeeland West Dux defeated North Muskegon 3-1. Dux pitchers allowed just two hits to North Muskegon.
The Dux fired up the offense in the first inning, when Carter Hughes's sac fly scored one run.
The Dux pulled away for good with another run in the third inning.
Josh Agar got the win on the mound. The hurler allowed one hit and one run over 5 innings, striking out six and walking one. Alex Powers entered the game out of the bullpen to close out the game in relief.
Trenten Bolhouse and Deklen Klamt each collected one hit to lead the Dux to victory.
