Terick DeJonge had all the right stuff on Thursday for Zeeland West Dux Varsity, allowing zero runs and besting Union by a score of 19-0. The righthander lasted four innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out four.
Zeeland West collected 14 hits on the day. Joe Steele, Corey Holtrust, Carson Gulker, Camden Schuessler, Ethan Bosch, and Aden DeGraaf each managed multiple hits for Zeeland West to lead the Dux offensive attack.
The Dux (15-4 overall, 8-1 OK Green) will host the 14th Annual Wooden Bat Tournament at Zeeland Athletic Fields sponsored by Zeeland Farm Services and Elegant Business Solutions. The Dux are set to face Hastings High School in game one of the tournament with the first pitch set for 10:00a.
