The Zeeland West varsity baseball team fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 12-2 loss to Portage Central on Saturday. The Zeeland West Dux Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Portage Central, giving up 12 runs.

Ethan Bosch took the loss for Zeeland West. The righty allowed seven hits and five runs over three innings, striking out two. Carson Gulker went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Zeeland West Dux Varsity in hits.
