The Zeeland West varsity baseball team defeated Allegan 10-0 in game two on Friday to get it's second win of the early season.
The Dux secured the victory thanks to six runs in the second inning. The offensive attack in the inning was led by Joe Steele, Camden Schuessler, Ethan Bosch, Corey Holtrust, and Aden DeGraaf, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Carter Hughes earned the win on the mound for Zeeland West. The right hander allowed two hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking zero. Hayden Reider threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
DeGraaf, Jack Aalderink, Schuessler, Carson Gulker, Steele, and Kole Meeuwsen all had one hit to lead the Dux. The Zeeland West Varsity team was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
