DUX Wrestling Team Earns Academic All State Honors

The Zeeland West Wrestling team has been named Academic All State for the second year in a row. West's team GPA of 3.48 ranks 8th in Division 2 of 115 teams, and 36th of 460 teams statewide.
Senior Connor Heckel was named to the Individual Wrestling Academic All-State team as Well. To Qualify for the individual team a wrestler must have qualified for the state tournament at least once and carry a cumulative 3.5 GPA. Heckel carries a 4.28 grade average and qualified for the state meet 3 times in 4 years.
