The freshman Dux traveled to Grand Haven for the annual GH Lakeshore Classic which consisted of 16 teams from the area.

The Dux earned a spot in the gold bracket to face Zeeland East. The Dux dropped the match 25-12, 25-20 to end their day. The Dux went 2-2 on the day moving their record to 9-9 on the season. The Dux will travel all the way to Zeeland East on Tuesday for their next match.

The freshman volleyball team dropped a heart breaker in three sets to a solid Holland Christian team 20-25, 25-20, 13-15. The Dux were up 9-1 in the third set and were unable to keep the momentum they had built up. The Dux move to 6-6 on the season and 1-4 in conference play.

The freshman volleyball team drops a close 3 setter to Hamilton 25-21, 20-25, 14-16. This game was back and forth with big momentum changes throughout. The Dux found themselves down 3-8 early in the first before getting on a roll to take the set. After a hard fought second set, the Dux found themselves headed to another third set. The Dux had the 14-12 lead before dropping 4 points in a row to lose 14-16. The Dux move to 3-3 on the season and 1-2 in conference play.

Down 9-13 in the third, the Dux tied it at 13 all before losing the last two points. This puts the Dux to 3-2 on the season and 1-1 in conference play.

The girls freshman volleyball team traveled to Holland High School and defeated the Dutch in straight sets 25-5, 25-8. Minimal errors and a strong metal game helped the Dux in their victory. The Dux move to 3-1 on the season and will be in action on Tuesday vs East at home at 5.
