The Zeeland West Tennis tennis team traveled to Byron Center for a non-conference match. Despite close matches the Dux were defeated 7-2. James Stewart at 3 Singles and Jacob Eckert and David Hernando Delgado were able to clinch wins for the Dux. The 1 doubles team of Luke Kaynor and Quinn Willette lost a tough 3 setter, while the 4 doubles team of Steve Garrison and Bryce VanWort lost a close match as well. The Dux next compete in a double duel on the 29th where they will take on Grand Haven and Hamilton.

ZW Tennis travels to Jenison for Quad

Lose: -
Zeeland West traveled to Jenison to compete with teams from around the area in a triple duel. The Dux took on Battle Creek Lakeview competing well winning some close matches and just coming up short on a few others. The Dux ended up tying Lakeview 4-4. The Dux next took on St. Joe losing a tough match 6-2 with multiple matches going to 3rd set tiebreaks. Last, the Dux took on Jenison defeating the Wildcats 5-3. Overall, it was a great start to the season for the Dux who next will take compete in a double duel against Hamilton and Thornapple Kellogg on August 23.
