The West varsity golf team placed 7th out of 18 teams at the MHSAA Division 2 Region 8 Tournament today, held at Quail Ridge Golf Club. Freshman Michael Girman led the Dux with a 77, which tied for 10th and missed qualifying for the state tournament by only 1 stroke. Logan Bomers added an 85, Tyler Baumann an 88, and Ben Keuning a 92.

The team travels to Quail Ridge Golf Club on Tuesday to compete in the Regional Tournament.

Michael Girman added an 89, Ben Keuning a 95, and Keegan Louwerse contributed a 99. On Wednesday, the team travels to Clearbrook Golf Club to compete in the Holland OK Green Jamboree.
