The Dux went to Wyoming for a second game of a back to back.  The first quarter was a struggle offensively for both teams with Wyoming holding a 10-5 lead after the first quarter.  In the second quarter, the Wolves crashed the boards and got out in transition after forcing a few turnovers and took a 27-17 lead.  The Dux have proven to be a third quarter team this year and Lincoln Jipping (12 points) and Jakob McLaren (11 points) helped key the run tonight by combing for 13 points and cutting the lead to 4 points multiple times.  However, the Wolves finished the third quarter on a 5 point run to take a 43-34 lead going into the 4th.  The Dux competed throughout the 4th, but couldn't make a run late and lost 65-50.  West will have one more game before Christmas break on Friday night at home vs. Forest Hills Central.

"I was proud of our guys for battling back after getting down double digits in the first couple of minutes.  We made big improvements in many areas tonight, but came up short."   Khi Anderson (14 points) and Jake Lencioni (17 points) had stretches were they scored in bunches in the first half.  The Dux defense led by Keaton Hendricks chipped away throughout the first three quarters to tie the game 42-42 at the end of the 3rd. The defense only gave up 6 field goals in the second half, but the offense struggled to score.  The Dux fell short in the end 62-52.  They will play on the road at Wyoming tomorrow night.
