Two great wins for Zeeland bowling tonight against a strong Unity Christian squad.
Boys started off very slow losing both baker games and found themselves down 10-0. The boys didn't give up and threw a nice 946 game and took 7-9 points to cut the lead to 12-7. The boys continued their strong bowling in the second game with 1029 and took 8 of 9 points and overall totals to win 17-13. Great bowling by Zach Baum with a two game set of 523. Scores of 247 and 276. Gabe Reyes also had strong games of 201 and 217. Kyle Lambright finished strong with a 199 game.
Zeeland Girls started steady and split the baker games winning totals and a 6-4 lead. They continued their steady bowling and won 6 1/2 points the first game. Unity bowled a strong second game but the Zeeland girls held on and took the match 17 1/2 to 12 1/2. High games bowled by Skylar Beverwyk 202 and Morgan Smith 178. Great win for the Zeeland Girls and they remain undefeated in Conference play.
