Girls 7/8 Creekside Soccer vs. West Ottawa White

The 7th grade girls soccer team rolled West Ottawa yesterday by a score of 9-1. Scoring for the Dux was Ana Flores, Greta Hondorp, Rachel McFall, Maggie Martin, Rylee Smith, Kayla Wyrick, and Abby Nash. Tending goal for the Dux was Desi Kuyers. Way to go ladies!
The 8th grade soccer team lost a tough game vs West Ottawa on Tuesday. The Panthers were aggressive early in the match scoring two quick goals. Just before halftime, the Dux started to swing the momentum when Ally Yonker took a cross from Kayla Bosch and buried a shot in the side netting. The Dux kept that momentum going into the second half scoring again to tie the game. Ellie Merson made a great run down the left sideline and beat the goalie near post for the goal. West Ottawa was able to break through the Dux defense one final time, scoring on a fast break to win 3-2. The Dux play @ rival Cityside on Wednesday.
